حمد الغانم

I’m a systems analyst at Kuwait Oil Company, co-founded a startup, and research how compilers can make programs smaller. Pick a line to ride my career from that side.

Since 2019 I’ve co-run Phinests, leading its engineering part-time. I also built Gaid AlKout, a score-keeping app with 60K monthly users.

I’ve shipped production software since 2015, and I’m back at Kuwait Oil Company after my M.S. Along the way: ERP integrations at KGL and a Ruby gem with 2.8M downloads.

My M.S. thesis at CU Boulder used IR2Vec embeddings to help compilers make programs smaller. I finished the degree with a 4.0 GPA.
